From March 18-19, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Stonebridge Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Boys 16-18
Hunter Justice from Cornelius, NC was the first-place finisher this weekend. Justice brought in scores of 75 and 80 for a combined total of 155 for the weekend. Noah Fry from Waxhaw, NC and Vladimir Zhang from Medan, Indonesia both tied for runner up this weekend. Fry’s scores of 81 and 80 and Zhang’s scores of 78 and 83 both combined for a total of 161.
Boys 14-15
Jack Zeiger from Chicago, IL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Zeiger brought in scores of 80 and 83 for a combined total of 163 for the weekend. Jonathan Caulder from Charlotte, NC was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 86 and 79 for a combined total of 165. Gabe duBuhr from Mint Hill, NC finished the top three honors with scores of 85 and 93 for a weekend total of 178.
Boys 11-13
Andrew Blanchette from Davidson, NC was the first-place finisher this weekend. Blanchette brought in scores of 83 and 88 for a combined total of 171 for the weekend.
Girls 14-18
Jade Blakeley from St. Michael, Barbados was the first-place finisher this weekend. Blakeley in scores of 89 and 81 for a combined total of 170 for the weekend. Addi Wood from Eagan, MN was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 86 and 86 for a combined total of 172. Alexis Blanchette from Davidson, NC finished the top three honors with scores of 87 and 87 for a weekend total of 174.
Girls U13
Calie Freda from Cornelius, NC was the first-place finisher this weekend. Freda brought in scores of 110 and 99 for a combined total of 209 for the weekend.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
