From July 23-24, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Sea Palms Junior Palms. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10, and Girls 14-18 Division.
Boys 16-18

Ryan Wijaya, from Yogyakarta, Indonesia was the first-place finisher this weekend. Wijaya brought in scores of 72 and 69 for a combined total of 141 for the weekend. Brett Maloy, from Screven, Georgia was the runner up with scores of 71 and 74 for a combined total of 145. Michael Seo, from Seoul, South Korea finished the top three honors with scores of 75 and 76 for a weekend total of 151.
Boys 14-15

Brantley Moore, from Memphis, Tennessee was the first-place finisher this weekend. Moore brought in scores of 74 and 73 for a combined total of 147 for the weekend. Joseph Morinelli, from Crozet, Virginia was the runner up with scores of 77 and 73 for a combined total of 150. Noah Morris, from Douglas, Georgia finished the top three honors with scores of 79 and 72 for a weekend total of 151.
Boys 11-13

John Paul Spivey, from Douglas, Georgia was the first-place finisher this weekend. Spivey brought in scores of 75 and 68 for a combined total of 143 for the weekend. Will Perkins, from Memphis, Tennessee was the runner up with scores of 74 and 82 for a combined total of 156. Huntley Couch, from Duluth, Georgia finished the top three honors with scores of 79 and 79 for a weekend total of 158.
Girls 14-18

Isaki Sakashita, from Tokyo, Japan was the first-place finisher this weekend. Sakashita brought in scores of 78 and 69 for a combined total of 147 for the weekend. Sofia Cova, from Rome, Italy was the runner up with scores of 76 and 82 for a combined total of 158. Biya Wang, from Guanzhou, China finished the top three honors with scores of 79 and 80 for a weekend total of 159.

Boys 10 Under

Davis Hall, from Moultrie, Georgia was the first-place finisher this weekend. Hall brought in scores of 79 and 76 for a combined total of 155 for the weekend. Lucas Spivey, from Douglas, Georgia was the runner up with scores of 80 and 76 for a combined total of 156. Tyler Perkins, from Memphis, Tennessee finished the top three honors with scores of 85 and 79 for a weekend total of 164.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
