From February 4-5, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Legacy at Lanier Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Boys 16-18
Ben Mixon from Woodstock, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Mixon brought in scores of 80 and 71 for a combined total of 151 for the weekend. Walker Baird from Woodstock, GA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 81 and 73 for a combined total of 154. Kiran Procter from Atlanta, GA the top three honors with scores of 84 and 71 for a weekend total of 155.
Boys 14-15
Jack Callahan from Alpharetta, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Callahan brought in scores of 82 and 79 for a combined total of 161 for the weekend. James Nagle from Ponte Vedra Beach, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 85 and 81 for a combined total of 166. Preston Lancaster from Sharpsville, IN finished the top three honors with scores of 95 and 86 for a weekend total of 181.
Boys 11-13
Wil Huddleston from Maryville, TN was the first-place finisher this weekend. Huddleston brought in scores of 90 and 88 for a combined total of 178 for the weekend. Patrick Nagle from Ponte Vedra Beach, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 95 and 91 for a combined total of 186.
Girls 14-18
Hailey Jung from Johns Creek, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Jung brought in scores of 86 and 79 for a combined total of 165 for the weekend. Adalyn Johnston from Green Bay, WI was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 90 and 84 for a combined total of 174. Calley Holbert from Knoxville, TN finished the top three honors with scores of 89 and 88 or a weekend total of 177.
Girls U13
Vivian Lott from Fayetteville, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Lott brought in scores of 89 and 79 for a combined total of 168 for the weekend. McKenzie Morris from Canton, GA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 92 and 81 for a combined total of 173. Ava Claire Mason from Suwanee, GA finished the top three honors with scores of 90 and 91 for a weekend total of 181.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division. The HJGT season is based on a calendar year and players earn points throughout the season towards year end honors beginning December 31, 2021.
