From May 28-30, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the 54 Hole Philadelphia Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 54-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Boys 16-18

Jonathan Xavier Hartono from DKI Jakarta, Indonesia was the first-place finisher this weekend. Hartono brought in scores of 72, 64, and 78 for a combined total of 214 for the weekend. Ethan Martin from North Wales, Pennsylvania and Matthew Vital from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania tied for the runner-up this weekend with scores of 73, 71, and 74 and 72, 75, and 71, respectively, for a total of 218 each.
Boys 14-15
Arth Sinha from Princeton, New Jersey was the first-place finisher this weekend. Sinha brought in scores of 76, 77, and 72 for a combined total of 225 for the weekend. Jack Geyer from Harve de Grace, Maryland and Tong Si from Millburn, New Jersey tied for the runner-up this weekend with scores of 76, 75, and 80 and 76, 75, and 80, respectively, for a total of 231 each.
Boys 11-13
Colby Komancheck from Royersford, Pennsylvania was the first-place finisher this weekend. Komancheck brought in scores of 85, 81, and 87 for a combined total of 253 for the weekend. Jack Luterman from Ardmore, Pennsylvania was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 87, 85, and 89 for a combined total of 261. Onyu Park from Blue Bell, Pennsylvania finished the top three honors with scores of 87, 86, and 94 for a weekend total of 267.
Girls 14-18
Ava O’Sullivan from Exton, Pennsylvania was the first-place finisher this weekend. O’Sullivan brought in scores of 79, 78, and 78 for a combined total of 235 for the weekend. Madison Moman from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 73, 81, and 82 for a combined total of 236. Alexandra, Engart from Harleysville, Pennsylvania finished the top three honors with scores of 85, 84, and 80 for a weekend total of 249.
Girls U13
Katherine Liu from Moorestown, New Jersey was the first-place finisher this weekend. Liu brought in scores of 84, 89, and 86 for a combined total of 259 for the weekend.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
