2021 PGA National Holiday Open

From December 27-28, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the 2021 Eagle Creek Holiday Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division,  Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.

2021 PGA National Holiday Open

Ismeal Garcia from León, Mexico was the first-place finisher this weekend. Garcia brought in scores of 71 and 74 for a weekend total of 145. Nicolas Fartelly from Medina, OH and David McNamara from Cathem, NJ tied for the runner up honors this weekend. Fartelly finished with scores of 78 both days for a final total of 156. McNamara brought in scores of 77 and 79 for a weekend total of 156.

Leo Simon from Scarsdale, NY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Simon brought in scores of 81 and 76 for a weekend total of 157. Davis Downing from Windermere, FL and Michael Nardone from West Palm Beach, FL tied for the runner up honors. Downing brought in an 84 and 74 for a weekend total of 158. Nardone finished the weekend with a 78 and 80 for a weekend total of 158.

Mingbo Jiang from Orlando, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Jiang brought in scores of 66 and 72 for a weekend total of 138. Blake Hartman from Dublin, OH was the runner up for the weekend. Hartman finished the weekend with scores of 74 both days for a weekend total of 148. Logan He from The Woodlands, TX finished the top three honors with scores of 76 and 77 for a weekend total of 153.

Aliya Liberatore from Palm Beach Gardens, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Liberatore brought in scores of 73 and 80 for a combined total of 153 for the weekend. Emily Mayne from Kingston, Jamaica was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 77 both days for a combined total of 154. Skye Bruan from Scaredale, NY finished the top three honors with scores of 79 and 78 for a weekend total of 157.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.

Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division. The HJGT season is based on a calendar year and players earn points throughout the season towards year end honors beginning December 31, 2021.
