World Golf Village Fall Junior Open
St. Augustine, FL — The World Golf Village Fall Junior Open, hosted by the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour, brought together an impressive field of young talent for a weekend of high-level competition, testing players’ patience and precision on one of Florida’s most historic stages.
In the Boys 16–18 Division, Jeremiah Smith of Viera, FL, held off a tightly packed leaderboard to claim victory at 150 (+6). His steady play and mental toughness earned him a narrow one-stroke win over Turner Hersey of Palatka, FL, who finished at 151 (+7).
Parker Spiwak of Gainesville, FL, captured the Boys 14–15 Division title with consistent rounds of 83–83 (166, +22), edging out Lucas Zhao (Brossard, Quebec) and Arjun Vemuri (St. Augustine, FL) by a single stroke. In the Boys 12–13 Division, Zain Sadiq of Sanford, FL, continued his strong fall campaign with a decisive win at 170 (+26), while Joshua Townsend of Orlando, FL, took home the Boys 10–11 Division trophy after firing a closing 82 to finish at 172 (+28).
On the girls’ side, Sabrina Smith of Daytona Beach, FL, dominated the Girls 14–18 Division, carding rounds of 75–80 (155, +11) to win by 12 strokes over Deeya Patel (Newburgh, IN). Smith’s combination of control and composure under pressure defined her victory.
