From March 16-17, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Winter Garden Spring Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys U10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division and Girls U13 Division.
Angelo Martinez from Albuquerque, NM was the first-place finisher for the Winter Garden Spring Junior Open. Martinez brought in scores of 67 and 72 for a combined total of 139 strokes. Andrew Hahn from Cornwall on Hudson, NY was the runner up and accumulated 68 and 74 strokes for a total of 142 strokes. In third was Nirekh Tejwani from Colombo, Sri Lanka with 70 and 73 for a total of 143 strokes.
Haden Wang from Richmond Hill, Canada was the first-place finisher for the Winter Garden Spring Junior Open. Wang scored 70 and 80, giving him a total of 150 strokes. Qichen Jia from Tianjin, China was the runner up, tied with Henry Wang from Lakewood Ranch, FL. Both shot 155 strokes, with Jia finishing with 83 and 72 points while Wang finished with scores of 75 and 80.
Simthandile Tshabalala from Lake Johannesburg, South Africa was the first-place finisher for the Boys 11-13 division. Tshabalala brought in consistent scores of 79 and 76 for a total of 155 strokes. James Giffen from West. Vancouver, Canada was the runner-up with consistent scores of 79 and 80, giving him a total score of 159 strokes. Jad Mourine from Paris, France was in third with scores of 81 and 82 for a total of 185 strokes.
Mason Reinhart from Winter Garden, FL was the first-place finisher for the Boys U10 division. Reinhart brought in scores of 81 and 80 for a total of 161 strokes. Travis Reaves from Lake Mary, FL was the runner-up for the tournament. Reaves finished the weekend with 174 strokes bringing in an 88 on round 1 and 86 for round 2.
Nala Chebli from New Albany, OH was the first-place finisher for the Girls 14-18 division. Chebli brought in consistent scores of 73 for a total of 146 strokes. Kayla Black from Mississauga, Canada was the runner-up with scores of 72 and 75 for a final scores of 147 strokes. In third was Cailyn Rogers from Lexington, KY with score of 71 and 77, for a total of 148 strokes.
Audrey King from Nolensville, TN was the first-place finisher for the Girls 13U division. King scored 109 in both rounds, giving her a total of 218 strokes.
