From January 21-22, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the White Heron Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.

Lucas Smith from Hamilton, Canada was the first-place finisher this weekend. Smith brought in scores of 75 and 76 for a combined total of 151 for the weekend. Tommaso Begali from Wesley Chapel, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 80 and 76 for a combined total of 156. Luke Schaal from Invermere, Canada finsihed the top three honors with scores of 77 and 81 for a weekend total of 158.
