From June 10-11, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Virginia Summer Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Ethan Goldsborough from Potomac, MD was the first-place finisher this weekend. Goldsborough brought in scores of 75 and 80 for a combined total of 155 for the weekend. Kyle Dyer from McLean, VA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 78 and 81 for a combined total of 159. There was a two way tie for third place with a total of 160 strokes.
Sean Hachmann from Aldie, VA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Hachmann brought in scores of 73 and 78 for a combined total of 151 for the weekend. Luke Fallon from Reading, PA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 81 and 78 for a combined total of 159. There was a three way tie for third place with a total of 167 strokes.
Terence McAuley from Haymarket, VA was the first-place finisher this weekend. McAuley brought in scores of 76 and 78 for a combined total of 154 for the weekend. Samuel Metz from Rehoboth Beach, DE was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 83 and 76 for a combined total of 159. Charles Deuterman from Springfield, VA finished the top three honors with scores of 85 and 83 for a weekend total of 168.
Frayser White from Charlottesville, VA was the first-place finisher this weekend and won after a one hole playoff. White brought in scores of 85 and 88 for a combined total of 173 for the weekend. Joseph Wang from Chevy Chase, MD was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 92 and 81 for a combined total of 173. Hugh White from Charlottesville, VA finished the top three honors with scores of 156 and 135 for a weekend total of 291.
