From August 6-7, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Turning Stone Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.

Mitchell Riter, from Homer, New York was the first-place finisher this weekend/ Mitchell brought in scores of 75 and 76 for a combined total of 151 for the weekend. Ethan Provino, from Mount Morris, NewYork was the runner up with scores of 78 and 77 for a combined total of 155. Andrew Carr, from Guyton, Georgia, finished the top three honors with scores of 80 and 77 for a weekend total of 157.

Adam Cichowski, from Elma, New York, was the first-place finisher this weekend after beating Joseph Boon, from North Chili, New York in a playoff match. Cichowski brought in scores of 87 and 88 for a combined total of 175 for the weekend. Boon was the runner up after the playoff match with scores of 94 and 81 for a combined total of 175. Will Finocharrio, from Rochester, New York and Jonathan Tecchio, from Poughkeepsie, New York tied for the third place honors with scores of 91 and 88, and 88 and 91, respectively, for a weekend total of 179 each.
