Texas Kickoff at Pearland
From January 21-22, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Texas Kickoff at Pearland. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of two divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division and the Girls Under 13 Division.

Kyle Traub from Metairie, LA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Traub brought in scores of 76 and 80 for a combined total of 156 for the weekend. Jack Newton from Littleton, CO and Talen Turnbaugh from Castle Rock, CO both ended the weekend as runner-ups. Newton’s scores of 79 and 82 and Turnbaugh’s scores of 80 and 81 tied for a weekend total of 161. Conner Scheich from Highlands Ranch, CO finished the top three honors with scores of 78 and 87 for a weekend total of 165.

Veronika Germain from Houston, TX was the first-place finisher this weekend. Germain brought in scores of 88 and 86 for a combined total of 174 for the weekend. Taryn Michael from Winnsboro, TX was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 90 and 94 for a combined total of 184.
