On December 14th, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Tampa Bay Winter Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Amine El Omari from Wesley Chapel, FL, was the first-place finisher this weekend. El Omari brought in scores of 70 and 73 for a combined total of 143 for the weekend. Teddy Gardner from San Francisco, CA, was the runner-up for the weekend with scores of 72 and 73 for a combined total of 145. Ethan Frost from Barrie, Canada, finished the top three honors with scores of 74 and 76 for a weekend total of 150.Â
