The Tampa Bay Junior Open, presented by Bushnell Golf, saw an incredible weekend of competition at Heritage Isles Golf & Country Club, where junior golfers put their skills to the test across multiple divisions on March 1-2, 2025. With stunning performances, clutch shots, and a whole lot of determination, these young athletes proved that the future of golf is in great hands.
Max Lankat from Hamburg, Germany, finished in first place, delivering rounds of 72 on Day 1 and an impressive 70 on Day 2, totaling 142 strokes. Conor Whalen from Trinity, FL, put up a strong fight, finishing in second place with scores of 73 on Day 1 and 72 on Day 2, for a total of 145 strokes. Maddox
Ketelaar from Wesley Chapel, FL, secured third place, posting 72 on Day 1 and 74 on Day 2, finishing with 146 strokes.
Yao Yuan (Chris) Xue from Kowloon, Hong Kong, took home the victory, shooting 72 on Day 1 and 80 on Day 2, finishing with 152 strokes. Elliott Stevens from Mendota Heights, MN, wasn’t far behind, securing second place with rounds of 78 on Day 1 and 76 on Day 2, totaling 154 strokes. Mourine Mad from Rabat, Morocco, rounded out the top three with scores of 82 on Day 1 and 78 on Day 2, finishing with 160 strokes.
Isahak Kelechian from Laval, Canada, took command of the course, finishing in first place with rounds of 81 on Day 1 and 87 on Day 2, totaling 168 strokes. Sultan (Blue) Alrashed from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, secured second place, shooting 87 on Day 1 and 88 on Day 2, finishing with 175 strokes. Right behind
him, Tommy Alrashed, also from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, earned third place with scores of 92 on Day 1 and 88 on Day 2, totaling 180 strokes
Peyton Mills from Bradenton, FL, rose to the occasion, finishing in first place with rounds of 82 on Day 1 and 83 on Day 2, totaling 165 strokes. Paul Sutton Amrich from Greenwich, CT, claimed second place with scores of 84 on Day 1 and 87 on Day 2, finishing with 171 strokes.
Ashley Kirkland from Newburgh, IN, delivered a stellar performance, securing first place with scores of 73 on Day 1 and 78 on Day 2, finishing with 151 strokes. Hilla Dries from Wesley Chapel, FL, took second place, posting 74 on Day 1 and 79 on Day 2, for a total of 153 strokes. Natalie Catapano from
Pacific Palisades, CA, rounded out the top three with rounds of 74 on Day 1 and 81 on Day 2, finishing with 155 strokes.
Zoe Yi from Hong Kong, China, battled through the weekend and finished in first place with scores of 87 on Day 1 and 84 on Day 2, totaling 171 strokes. Loretto Anabel Flores Torres from Monterrey, Mexico, claimed second place with rounds of 92 on Day 1 and 95 on Day 2, finishing with 187 strokes.
