Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Summer College Prep Series at Penn State this past weekend, May 31- June 1, at Penn State Golf Club. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of 5 divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15, Division, Boys 12-13 Division, Boys 10-11 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.
Sam Bishop from Bridgeville, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Bishop brought in scores of 71 and 72 for a combined total of 143. Chase Andrews from Harleysville, PA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 73 and 74 for a combined total of 147. Michael Ambrose from Canfield, OH finished tied for third place with scores of 77 and 72 for a weekend total of 149. Also tied for third place was Adler Dodson from Cockeysville, MD with scores of 76 and 73 for a weekend total of 149.
Barron Bitar of Pittsburgh, PA and Sohan Madane of Long Valley, NJ finished the final round tied for first place, each recording scores of 78 and 75 for a total of 153. Ultimately, Bitar emerged as the winner. Judd Fletcher of Moorestown, NJ secured third place with rounds of 75 and 83, finishing with a combined total of 158
Ryan Kirkbride from Glen Burnie, MD was the first-place finisher this weekend. Kirkbride brought in scores of 72 and 74 for a combined total of 146 for the weekend. Christos Bottos from Berwyn, PA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 81 and 82 for a combined total of 163. Jacob Davis from Bellefonte, PA finished the top three honors with scores of 85 and 80 for a weekend total of 165.
Brooks Johnson from Houston, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Johnson brought in scores of 108 and 104 for a combined total of 212 for the weekend
Claire Roberts from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada was the first-place finisher this weekend. Roberts brought in scores of 73 and 73 for a combined total of 146. Megan Choi from Penn Valley, PA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 75 and 82 for a combined total of 157. Vivienne Powers from York, PA finished the top three honors with scores of 78 and 80 for a weekend total of 158.
