From April 8-9, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Spring College Prep Series at UK The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Drew Edwards from Lexington, KY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Edwards brought in scores of 77 and 71 for a combined total of 148 for the weekend. Rua Kimotho from Fairfax, VA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 78 and 76 for a combined total of 154. Julian Myers from Dublin, OH finished the top three honors with scores of 84 and 75 for a weekend total of 159.
Harrison Zipfel from University City, MO was the first-place finisher this weekend. Zipfel brought in scores of 70 and 68 for a combined total of 138 for the weekend. Nick Vilela from Washington, MO was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 67 and 74 for a combined total of 141. Lyoto Bellon from St. Louis, MO finished the top three honors with scores of 83 and 78 for a weekend total of 161.
Ivan Kennedy from O’Fallon, MO was the first-place finisher this weekend. Kennedy brought in scores of 80 and 82 for a combined total of 162 for the weekend. Sy McDaniel from Lexington, KY, Zane Rueger from Ann Arbor, MI, and Asher Smith from Shelbyville, KY all tied for runner up for the weekend. McDaniel’s scores of 85 and 79, Rueger’s scores of 84 and 80, and Smith’s scores of 83 and 81 all combined for a weekend total of 164.
Mariana Rodriguez Chavez from Ibague, Colombia was the first-place finisher this weekend. Rodriguez Chavez brought in scores of 78 and 75 for a combined total of 153 for the weekend. Karlie Campbell from Ethridge, TN was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 84 and 70 for a combined total of 154. Gabriella Tapp from South Lyon, MI finished the top three honors with scores of 76 and 79 for a weekend total of 155.
