Stuart, FL – January 7, 2025– The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour proudly hosted the South Florida Kickoff at Summerfield this past weekend, January 4-5, 2025, at Champions Club at Summerfield in Stuart, Florida. The 36-hole tournament featured an impressive field of talented junior golfers competing across four divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 12-13, Boys 10-11, and Girls 14-18.
Loic Simard from Sainte-Julie, Canada was the first place finisher for the weekend. Simard finished the weekend with scores of 83 and 75 for a weekend total of 158 strokes. Jack Zeder from Coral Gables, FL was the runner up this weekend with round one scores of 79 and round two scores of 80, for a weekend total of 159 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Zachary Lauzon from Ste-Julie, Canada. Lauzon finished with scores of 88 and 86 for a weekend total of 174 strokes.
Fraser Walters from Aberlady, United Kingdom was the first place finisher for the weekend. Walters brought in scores of 76 and 74 for a weekend total of 150 strokes. Zack Bourgeois from Ste-Agathe-Des-Monts, Canada was the runner up for this weekend. Bourgeois finished with scores of 80 and 74 for a weekend total of 154 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was James Griffen from West Vancouver, Canada. Griffen brought in scores of 85 and 81 for a weekend total of 166 strokes.
Stella Walters from Aberlady, United Kingdom was the first place finisher this weekend. Walters finished with scores of 87 an d82 for a weekend total of 169 stokes. Lilie Cohen from Parker, CO was the runner up with scores of 90 and 84 for a weekend combined total of 174 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Sophie Alcala-Marks from Parkland, FL. Sophie finished with scores of 91 and 94 for a weekend total of 185 strokes.
