From January 20-21, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Savannah Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format and with a field of five divisions including Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Girls 14-18 Division and Girls U13 Division.
Braden Schnaible from Savannah, GA was the first-place finisher of the Savannah Junior Open. Schnaible scored 75 in the first round and shot two under par in the second, giving him a combined total of 145 strokes to finish +1. Preston Hall from Murfreesboro, TN was the runner up. Hall shot 83 and 73, giving him a final score of 156 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Will Norton from Covington, GA. Norton scored 80 and 78, finishing the weekend with a total of 158 strokes.
Cole Hornick from Myrtle Beach, SC was the first-place finisher of the Boys 14-15 Division. Hornick shot 99 and 88, giving him a combined total of 187 strokes. Reed Prickett from North Augusta, SC was the runner up. Prickett scored 95 and 93, giving him a total of 188 strokes.
Joseph Nixon from Savannah, GA was the first-place finisher of the Boys 11-13 Division. Nixon scored 85 and 79, finishing the weekend with a combined total of 164 strokes.
Nara Kim from Seoul, Republic of Korea was the first-place finisher of the Girls 14-18 Division. Kim shot 71 in the first round and 74 in the second, giving her a combined total of 145 strokes to finish +1. Kang Eunbi from Seoul, Republic of Korea was the runner up. Eunbi scored 81 and 76, finishing with a total of 157 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Yun Choi from Seoul, Republic of Korea. Choi shot 79 in both rounds, giving her a combined total of 158 strokes to finish the weekend.
Sooa Ryu from Seoul, Republic of Korea was the first-place finisher of the Girls U13 Division. Ryu shot 78 in both rounds, giving her a combined total of 156 strokes. Bernice Ng from Buford, GA was the runner up. Ng shot 110 and 98, giving her a score of 208 strokes to finish the weekend.
