From March 30-31, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Saddlebrook Spring Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format and with a field of five divisions, including the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Girls 14-18 Division and Girls U13 Division.
Maddox Ketelaar from Wesley Chapel, FL was the first-place finisher of the Saddlebrook Spring Junior Open. Ketelaar scored 73 and 70, giving him a combined total of 143 strokes. Ethan Keys from Wesley Chapel, FL was the runner up, shooting 77 and 67 to finish just one point behind the lead with 144 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Asa Holsonback from Saint Petersburg, FL. Holsonback scored 73 and 75, giving him a combined total of 148 strokes.
Brady Fallon from Clearwater, FL was the first-place finisher of the Boys 14-15 Division. Fallon scored 73 and 76, giving him a combined total of 149 strokes. Patrick Lewis from Jasper, GA was the runner up, shooting 77 and 76 to finish with 153 strokes. Rounding out the top three was Rodrigo Baroja from Canary Islands, Spain. Baroja scored 78 and 77, giving him a combined total of 155 strokes.
Kai Jorde from Bradenton, FL was the first-place finisher of the Boys 11-13 Division. Jorde scored 75 and 73, giving him a combined total of 148 strokes. Yao Yuan “Chris” Xue from Kowloon, Hong Kong was the runner up, shooting 77 and 73 to finish with 150 strokes. David Cochran from Tampa, FL rounded out the top three honors. Cochran scored 75 and 79, giving him a combined total of 154 strokes.
Alexandra Snyder from Orlando, FL was the first-place finisher of the Girls 14-18 Division. Snyder scored 73 and 75, giving her a combined total of 148 strokes. Jamie Lowry from Fort Myers, FL and Li Xia from West Covina, CA were tied for runner up. Both scored 152 strokes, with Lowry shooting 76 in both rounds while Xia shot 75 and 77.
Leila El Omari from Wesley Chapel, FL was the first-place finisher of the Girls U13 Division. El Omari scored 85 and 84, giving her a combined total of 169 strokes.
