From March 26th-27th, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Red Tail Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.

Lucas Smith from Hamilton, Canada was the first-place finisher this weekend. Smith brought in scores of 75 and 69 for a combined total of 144 for the weekend. Thomas Danielson and Chase Pochylko from Saskatoon, Canada tied for runner-up this weekend with scores of 74 and 72, and 73 and 73, for a combined total of 146 each.

Angelo Martinez from Albuquerque, NM was the first-place finisher this weekend. Martinez brought in scores of 77 and 75 for a combined total of 152 for the weekend. Jack Denery from Little Rock, AR was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 76 and 78 for a combined total of 154. Preston Devieux from Mountainside, NJ finished the top three honors with scores of 76 and 82 for a weekend total of 158.

Dodd’s scores of 75 and 80 and Vice’s scores of 79 and 76 both combined for a weekend total of 155.
