2022 Red Tail Junior Open

From March 26th-27th, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Red Tail Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.

Lucas Smith from Hamilton, Canada was the first-place finisher this weekend. Smith brought in scores of 75 and 69 for a combined total of 144 for the weekend. Thomas Danielson and Chase Pochylko from Saskatoon, Canada tied for runner-up this weekend with scores of 74 and 72, and 73 and 73, for a combined total of 146 each.

Treva Dodd from Bradenton, FL and Katherine Vice from Bradenton, FL tied to finish out the top three honors for the weekend. Dodd’s scores of 75 and 80 and Vice’s scores of 79 and 76 both combined for a weekend total of 155.
