The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour wrapped up another exciting event at the Pittsburgh Spring Junior Challenge, held March 29–30, 2025, at the stunning Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. Junior golfers from across the region brought their A-game to the two-day tournament, competing in five divisions: Boys 16–18, Boys 14–15, Boys 12–13, Boys 10–11, and Girls 14–18.
Max Mottura of Vandergrift, PA, finished in first place with scores of 76 on Day 1 and 72 on Day 2, for a
total of 148 strokes. Aaron Didjunas of McKeesport, PA, took second place with scores of 76 on Day 1
and 74 on Day 2, totaling 150 strokes. Alexander Eckstein of Poland, OH, secured third place with rounds of 72 and 82, totaling 154 strokes.
Ty Hartman of Jefferson Hills, PA, finished in first place with scores of 83 on Day 1 and 75 on Day 2, for
a total of 158 strokes. Alexander Randolph of Bridgeport, WV, came in second with rounds of 84 and 78, totaling 162 strokes. Hayden Thatcher of Boonsboro, MD, earned third place with scores of 84 and 81, for a total of 165 strokes.
Brady Bilkey of Williamsville, NY, finished in first place with scores of 80 on Day 1 and 88 on Day 2,
totaling 168 strokes. Brady Walker of Venetia, PA, took second place with rounds of 86 and 95, for a total
of 181 strokes. Hudson Barnett of Irwin, PA, came in third with scores of 107 and 101, totaling 208
strokes.
Preston Tolnar of Canfield, OH, finished in first place with scores of 79 on Day 1 and 83 on Day 2, for a
total of 162 strokes. Aiden Q of Baltimore, MD, earned second place with rounds of 95 and 108, totaling
203 strokes.
Cora Hirz of Fairview, PA, finished in first place with scores of 82 on Day 1 and 83 on Day 2, totaling
165 strokes. JoJo Jaskulski of Washington, PA, secured second place with scores of 84 and 87, for a total of 171 strokes. Siena Smith of Wexford, PA, finished third with rounds of 86 and 90, for a total of 176 strokes
