From January 27-28, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Phoenix Winter Junior Open at Legacy. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format and with a field of five divisions, including Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Girls 14-18 Division and Girls U13 Division.
Jaxon Brown from Phoenix, AZ was the first-place finisher of the Phoenix Winter Junior Open at Legacy. Brown scored 72 and 71, giving him a combined total of 143 strokes. Callaway Conkright from Gilbert, AZ and Carter Peterson from Sioux Falls, SD were tied for runner up. Both Conkright and Peterson scored 74 in the first round and 75 in round two to give them both totals of 149 strokes.
Michael Skimel from Morrison, CO was the first-place finisher of the Boys 14-15 Division. Skimel scored 83 and 82, giving him a combined total of 165 strokes to finish the weekend.
Matisse Stuan from Arcata, CA was the first-place finisher of the Boys 11-13 Division. Stuan scored 83 and 75, giving him a combined total of 158 strokes. Lincoln Williams from Mesa, AZ was the runner up. Williams scored 80 in both rounds, giving him a combined total of 160 strokes to finish the weekend.
Kyndra Johnson from Salida, CO was the first-place finisher in the Girls 14-18 Division. Johnson scored 76 and 84, giving her a combined total of 160 strokes.
Shylee Kostiuk from Spruce Grove, Canada was the first-place finisher of the Girls U13 Division. Kostiuk scored 81 and 78, giving her a combined total of 159 strokes. Annabelle Kutcher from Chicago, IL was the runner up. Kutcher shot 88 and 97, giving her a total of 185 strokes to finish the weekend.
