November 16-17th, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Phoenix Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.Â
Cade Shorty Sherwood from Gilbert, AZ, was the first-place finisher this weekend. Sherwood brought in scores of 72 and 71 for a combined total of 143 for the weekend. Riley Apodaca from Deming, NM, was the runner-up for the weekend with scores of 72 and 73 for a combined total of 145. Jack Abraham from Paradise Valley, AZ, finished the top three honors with scores of 76 and 72 for a weekend total of 148.Â
Asher Nelson from Gilbert, AZ, was the first-place finisher this weekend. Nelson brought in scores of 71 and 66 for a combined total of 137 for the weekend. Jack Langbein from Deming, NM, was the runner-up for the weekend with scores of 71 and 72 for a combined total of 143. Sam Meltzer from Paradise Valley, AZ, finished the top three honors with scores of 72 and 75 for a weekend total of 147.Â
Cat Dann from Mesa, AZ, was the first-place finisher this weekend. Dann brought in scores of 76 and 70 for a combined total of 146 for the weekend. Bradyn Peterson from Phoenix, AZ, was the runner-up for the weekend with scores of 85 and 86 for a combined total of 171. Nicholas Napuli from Grover, MO, finished the top three honors with scores of 87 and 93 for a weekend total of 180.Â
Joey Morin from Gilbert, AZ, was the first-place finisher this weekend. Morin brought in scores of 74 and 80 for a combined total of 146 for the weekend. Stellan Tessman from Dewey, AZ, was the runner-up for the weekend with scores of 111 and 127 for a combined total of 238.
