From March 16-17, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Philadelphia Spring Kickoff at Talamore. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format and with a field of five divisions, including the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys U10 Division and Girls 14-18 Division.
Benjamin Boyanoski from Dunmore, PA was the first-place finisher of the Boys 16-18 Division after winning a 3-hole tiebreaker playoff against Brent Glah from Horsham, PA. Both Boyanoski and Glah had identical scores, shooting 80 and 81 to finish with 161 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Zachary Rengen from Mechanicsburg, PA. Rengen shot 82 in both rounds, giving him a combined total of 164 strokes.
Declan Conner from Swarthmore, PA was the first-place finisher of the Boys 14-15 Division. Conner scored 81 and 80, giving him a combined total of 161 strokes. Luke Fallon from Reading, PA and Harry Traynor from Malvern, PA were tied for runner up. Both scored 171 strokes, with Fallon shooting 81 and 90 while Traynor shot 84 and 87.
Taimoor Naseem from Sinking Spring, PA was the first-place finisher of the Boys 11-13 Division. Naseem scored 86 and 85, giving him a total of 171 strokes. Logan Turner from Berwyn, PA was the runner up, shooting 91 and 83 to finish with 174 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Brody Campbell from Plymouth Meeting, PA. Campbell scored 95 and 90, giving him a combined total of 185 strokes.
Baylor Keim from Blue Bell, PA was the first-place finisher of the Boys U10 Division. Keim scored 101 and 99, giving him a combined total of 200 strokes. Anthony Woodson from Blue Bell, PA was the runner up. Woodson shot 107 and 108 to finish the weekend with a total of 215 strokes.
Danielle Higbee from Mickleton, NJ was the first-place finisher of the Philadelphia Spring Kickoff at Talamore after winning a tiebreaker playoff against Inha A. Jun from Edgewater, NJ. Both scored 151 strokes, with Higbee shooting 74 and 77 while Jun shot 75 and 76. Rounding out the leaderboard was a three-way tie for third place between Meredith Finger (Wilmington, DE), Emily Renoff (Glen Ridge, NJ), and Hannah Webb (Woolwich, NJ). All three scored 169 strokes, with Finger shooting 88 and 81, Renoff scoring 84 and 85, and Webb shooting 88 and 81.
