Peoria Junior Open
From April 1-2, 2023 the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Peoria Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of three divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.

Andre Marriott from Moline, IL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 82 and 77 for a combined total of 159. Weisenberger won the division with a par on the first suddent death playoff hole. Reis Claybrooke from Mahomet, IL and Maddux Quick from Monticello, IL both tied to finish out the top three honors for the weekend. Claybrooke’s scores of 85 and 80 and Quick’s scores of 81 and 84 both combined for a weekend total of 165.
