Lake Worth, FL – January 20, 2025 – The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Palm Beach Junior Open this past weekend, January 18-19, 2025, at Park Ridge Golf Club in Lake Worth, FL. The tournament featured a competitive 36-hole format and included a strong field across multiple divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 12-13, Boys 10-11, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13.
Rory Gurandiano from New York, NY, finished in first place with a stellar performance. Gurandiano delivered scores of 75 on Day 1 and an impressive 70 on Day 2, for a combined total of 145. Tied for second place were Cole Daniello from Cohasset, MA, and Vicente Losa from Caracas, Venezuela. Both players brought in consistent rounds of 76 on Day 1 and 80 on Day 2, finishing with a total of 156.
Carson Lowe from West Palm Beach, FL, finished in first place. Lowe brought in scores of 77 on Day 1 and 76 on Day 2, for a combined total of 153. Jack Tully from Rocky River, OH, claimed second place with scores of 83 on Day 1 and 80 on Day 2, for a total of 163. Charlie Webster from Danville, KY, rounded out the top three with scores of 81 on Day 1 and 87 on Day 2, finishing with a total of 168.
Blake Waidlich from Keene, NH, finished in first place with scores of 85 on Day 1 and 81 on Day 2, for a total of 166. Myles Mergler from New York, NY, secured second place with rounds of 84 on Day 1 and 85 on Day 2, finishing with a total of 169.
Olivia Hartman from Palm Beach Gardens, FL, finished in first place with an excellent performance. Hartman brought in scores of 78 on Day 1 and 77 on Day 2, for a total of 155. Ada Kim from Boca Raton, FL, claimed second place with scores of 77 on Day 1 and 85 on Day 2, for a combined total of 162. Kenley Gabler from Lubbock, TX, secured third place with scores of 84 on Day 1 and 89 on Day 2, finishing with a total of 173.
Zoey Sophia Pápay from Kosice, Slovakia, finished in first place. Pápay delivered rounds of 79 on Day 1 and 81 on Day 2, for a combined total of 160.
