From January 27-28, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Palm Beach Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format and with a field of six divisions, including Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys U10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division and Girls U13 Division.
Hogan Blais from Ontario, Canada was the first-place finisher of the Palm Beach Junior Open. Blais scored 71 in the first round and 72 in round two to give him a combined total of 1-under par, 143 strokes. Danny Wehle from Rochester, NY was the runner up. Wehle scored 72 and 74, giving him a total of 146 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Brett Shaw from Stratford, Canada. Shaw scored 74 and 77, giving him a combined total of 151 strokes to finish the weekend.
Mateo Quenneville from Port St. Lucie, FL was the first-place finisher of the Boys 14-15 Division. Quenneville scored 81 and 86, giving him a combined total of 167 strokes. Cole Laffere from Miami, FL was the runner up. Laffere shot 84 and 86, giving him a total of 170 strokes. Chris Capello from Palm Beach, FL rounded out the top three honors. Capello scored 87 and 86, finishing the weekend with a total score of 173 strokes.
Zane Rueger from Ann Arbor, MI was the first-place finisher of the Boys 11-13 Division. Rueger shot 72 and 78, giving him a combined total of 150 strokes. Trey Susa from Windermere, FL was the runner up. Susa scored 81 and 73, giving him a total of 154 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Charles Sundermeier from Lake Worth, FL. Sundermeier scored 79 and 76, finishing the weekend with a total score of 155 strokes.
Maxence Le Theo from Miami, FL was the first-place finisher of the Boys U10 Division. Le Theo scored 85 in the first round and 86 in round two, giving him a combined total of 171 strokes to finish the weekend.
Margaret Claire Luce from Jupiter, FL was the first-place finisher of the Girls 14-18 Division. Luce scored 80 and 77, giving her a combined total of 157 strokes. Lindsey Marcellus from Loxahatchee, FL was the runner up. Marcellus scored 86 and 90, finishing the event with a total score of 176 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Riley Fritz from Cape Coral, FL. Fritz shot 92 and 91, giving her a combined total of 183 strokes to finish the weekend.
Mia Heuberer from Miami Beach, FL was the first-place finisher of the Girls U13 Division. Heuberer scored 84 and 82, giving her a combined total of 166 strokes. Chloe Rounce from Nassau, Bahamas was the runner up. Rounce scored 99 and 92, giving her a combined total of 191 strokes to finish the weekend.
