The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the TPC Prestancia Junior Open this past weekend, where juniors from across the U.S. and around the world faced one of Florida’s premier championship layouts.
Jason Johnson (Barbados) captured the Boys 16–18 title at 152 (+8), while Salem Al Abdallat (Jordan) won the Boys 14–15 division at 155 (+11). Local standout Brody Blackwell (Sarasota, FL) secured the Boys 12–13 crown at 153 (+9), and Mattea Issa (Jamaica) claimed the Girls 14–18 championship with a steady 152 (+8).
With international talent and competitive finishes across all divisions, Prestancia delivered another memorable stop on the HJGT schedule.

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour returned to the PGA National Resort – Estates Course this past weekend, giving juniors the chance to compete on one of Florida’s premier championship layouts. The course demanded precision off the tee and patience on the greens, creating a true test for all divisions.
Each age group delivered competitive play, with strong finishes across both rounds. Despite the challenges of tough pin placements and shifting conditions, players showed resilience and determination throughout the weekend.
More than just trophies were at stake—this event offered valuable experience on a world-class course, preparing junior golfers for future competition at the highest levels.
