Bristow Manor Golf Club
Bristow, VA – September 2025 — Drama unfolded at Bristow Manor Golf Club this past weekend as the Northern Virginia Junior Open came down to a playoff between two Midlothian standouts. After 36 holes, Harrison Beaudoin and Jackson Wright were deadlocked at 2-under par, forcing extra holes to decide the champion. Beaudoin held his nerve when it mattered most, edging Wright in the playoff to secure the title. His steady even-par 72 in Sunday’s final round followed an opening 70, a testament to consistency on a demanding layout. Wright, meanwhile, put together the round of the day in the finale, firing a 70 to force his way into the tie, but ultimately fell just short in the playoff. Not far behind, Graham Weinstein made a Sunday charge of his own, carding a sizzling 69 to climb into solo third at +1. His performance marked one of the low rounds of the tournament and nearly propelled him into the playoff mix. A crowded leaderboard saw Sean Nguyen (Fairfax, VA), Jackson Quinn (Leesburg, VA), and Channing Sauerwine (Broadlands, VA) all finish in a tie for fourth at +6, each showing grit against firm greens and swirling winds that tested the entire field. The event drew a strong field from across the Mid-Atlantic and beyond, with players battling not just each other but also the championship conditions of Bristow Manor. From Beaudoin’s composure under playoff pressure to Wright’s relentless push and Weinstein’s final-round surge, the Northern Virginia Junior Open showcased the depth of junior golf talent in the region.
