Carrollton, GA — Mason Yi of Peachtree Corners, GA, delivered a masterclass comeback on Sunday to win the Boys 12–13 Division at the West Atlanta Fall Junior Open, hosted by the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour, finishing with a total score of 161 (+17) at Oak Mountain Golf Club.
After opening with an 89 on Saturday, Yi stormed back in spectacular fashion, firing an even-par 72 in the final round — one of the best rounds of the tournament across all divisions. His flawless ball striking, confidence off the tee, and composed putting under pressure fueled the turnaround, propelling him from behind to a commanding seven-stroke victory.
Jack Reynolds of Atlanta, GA, finished runner-up at 168 (+24) after rounds of 89–79, while Josiah Hardee of Alpharetta, GA, took third at 172 (+28). Garrett Saylor of Cumming, GA, rounded out the field in fourth at 200 (+56).

Greensboro, NC — Graham Hall of Mills River, NC, emerged victorious in dramatic fashion at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Invitational, hosted by the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour, capturing the Boys 12–13 Division title after defeating Samson Milleville of Dover, TN, in a sudden-death playoff at Greensboro National Golf Club.
Hall and Milleville finished regulation tied at 150 (+6) after two stellar rounds of golf. Hall posted 74–76, showing consistency from tee to green, while Milleville’s 75–75 kept him neck and neck through both days of competition. When neither player could pull ahead in regulation, the championship was decided in a playoff — where Hall sealed the win with a composed par to claim the trophy.
Tyler Lambert of Washington, D.C., finished close behind in third at 152 (+8), while Owen Devine of Wexford, PA, and Shane Stepnicka of Jefferson, NC, tied for fourth at 159 (+15).
The playoff victory capped off an outstanding weekend of golf, with Hall displaying remarkable poise under pressure. His steady iron play and confident putting proved decisive, earning him a well-deserved championship at one of the HJGT’s most competitive regional events of the fall season.
