REUNION, Fla. – The Reunion Junior Open presented by GEICO, hosted by the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour, featured a composed and commanding performance from Neil Sullivan of Simsbury, Connecticut, who captured the Boys 12–13 Division title with a two-day total of +3 (147). Sullivan opened with a sharp 73, then followed with a steady 74, showcasing disciplined course management on Reunion Resort’s championship layout. His precision off the tee and ability to convert key pars allowed him to stay in complete control of the leaderboard across both rounds, securing a five-shot victory. Bentley McNamara of Woodstock, Ontario, Canada, finished runner-up at +8 (152) after rounds of 77 and 75, applying pressure early in the final round before Sullivan pulled away late. Hayden Hogg of Champaign, Illinois, surged on Sunday with a strong 74 to claim third at +14 (158). Rounding out the top five were Haoyu Yong of Winter Garden, Florida, at 166, and Sebastian Vizcarra of Lima, Peru, at 168, further emphasizing the international depth of the division. Shabashkevich delivered one of the most dynamic rounds of the entire tournament on Sunday, firing a three-under 69 to surge ahead of the field. His precision off the tee and confident putting allowed him to navigate Indian Springs’ tight corridors with maturity well beyond his age. The bogey-free stretch on the back nine sealed his victory in dominant fashion. Saktinra Puspanathan of Port St. Lucie, Florida, finished runner-up at +19 (163) after rounds of 81 and 82, while Kayden Lipnicky of Parkland, Florida, secured third at +35 (179). Sebastian De Caso of Coral Gables and Cameron Limia of Plantation rounded out the top five. Mason Reinhart, also of Winter Garden, Florida, finished runner-up at +24 (131), while Mack Wong of St. Petersburg, Florida, claimed third at +30 (137). His steady performance in cool, blustery conditions proved to be the difference, allowing him to secure a three-shot victory. Chase Rebore of Bayport, New York, finished runner-up at +19 (161) after opening with a 75, while Preston Minio of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, rounded out the top three at +20 (162). Michael Fernandez of Manhasset, New York, and Camden Colangelo of Bel Air, Maryland, rounded out the top five.
