MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — The Myrtle Beach Holiday Classic concluded at Barefoot Resort and Golf with the Boys 10–11 division taking on a demanding two-day challenge that tested patience, perseverance, and mental toughness above all else. On a course that offered little margin for error, simply managing the golf course became the primary objective.
Carter Orzechowski, competing out of Belmont, North Carolina, navigated the full championship test to earn the division title, completing two rounds in conditions that steadily wore on the field. Barefoot Resort’s length, forced carries, and firm green complexes placed constant pressure on young competitors, turning each hole into a lesson in commitment and resilience.
For the youngest players in the field, the venue provided a true championship-style experience, demanding focus from the opening tee shot through the final putt. The course exposed the importance of course management and emotional control, reinforcing lessons that extend well beyond the scorecard.

MARCO ISLAND, Fla. — The Marco Island Holiday Junior Open concluded at The Rookery at Marco Island with the Boys 10–11 division facing a demanding championship test that required patience, focus, and perseverance well beyond the scorecard. Over two challenging rounds, Gabriel Epps rose to the occasion, navigating the course’s strategic demands to secure the division title.
Epps, competing out of Nolensville, Tennessee, posted rounds of 82 and 87 to finish at +25, separating himself through steady effort and resilience on a layout that allowed little margin for error. The Rookery’s narrow corridors, forced carries, and subtly contoured greens placed constant pressure on young competitors, rewarding composure and thoughtful decision-making from tee to green.
Behind him, Josiah Dorgelus of Venice, Florida, and Roman Addorio of Naples, Florida, battled the course’s challenges across both rounds, each gaining valuable experience on a venue that tests every facet of the game. As conditions tightened and fatigue set in, simply finishing strong became an accomplishment in itself.

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Orlando Holiday Classic closed with another composed performance at Celebration Golf Club, as the Boys 10–11 division saw Seunghun “Ben” Hahn rise to the moment on a course that demanded precision well beyond his years.
Hahn, competing out of Seoul, Republic of Korea, delivered rounds of 79 and 78 to finish at +13, showing poise and consistency across two days of challenging conditions. Celebration’s narrow corridors and firm greens placed a premium on controlled ball flight and smart decision-making, and Hahn met the test with a calm, methodical approach from tee to green.
Even in the youngest age group, the course revealed little margin for error, reinforcing the importance of discipline and patience — traits Hahn displayed throughout the weekend. His ability to avoid costly mistakes and steadily navigate the layout separated him from the field and underscored his maturity under tournament pressure.
As part of the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour’s holiday slate, the Orlando Holiday Classic once again provided a meaningful competitive stage for junior golfers at every level. With coastal winds, long sightlines, and firm greens presenting obstacles well beyond their years, this division showcased grit, growth, and competitive spirit across two full days.
Cole Burris of Canton, Georgia emerged as the division champion, putting together a strong weekend with rounds of 82 and 78 to finish at +16. Burris showed impressive composure for his age, improving in the second round and navigating the course with increasing confidence as the tournament progressed. His ability to adjust and stay patient proved decisive in separating him from the field.
Jonah Hull of Matthews, North Carolina finished second at +21, staying firmly in contention throughout the weekend. Hull followed a steady opening round with another solid performance on Sunday, demonstrating consistency and focus on a course that rarely offers easy scoring opportunities.
Cole Kreutzer of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina claimed third place at +37, battling through challenging conditions and gaining valuable experience on a demanding layout. Behind him, the remainder of the field continued to show determination and perseverance, completing a tournament that tested endurance, mindset, and adaptability.
