From September 23-24, 2023, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Orange County National Fall Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of four divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.
Diego Serrano Rodriguez from Corregidora, Mexico was the first-place finisher this weekend. Serrano Rodriguez brought in scores of 72 and 70 for a combined total of 142 for the weekend. Matthew Lim from Skillman, NJ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 74 and 70 for a combined total of 144. We had a four-way tie for the top three honor. Brady Hall from Kingston, Canada with scores of 71 and 74 for a weekend total of 145. Nathan Peji from Dunwoody, GA with scores of 78 and 67 for a total of 145. Haikal Putera from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with scores of 74 and 71 to finish the weekend with a 145. Luke Walker from Bradenton, FL with scores of 74 and 71 for a weekend total of 145.
Cooper Cavanaugh from High Point, NC was the first-place finisher this weekend. Cavanaugh brought in scores of 70 and 73 for a combined total of 143 for the weekend. Imran Putera from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia was the runner-up for the weekend with scores of 77 and 71 for a combined total of 148. Luis Arista from Pachuca, Mexico finished at one of the top three honors with scores of 75 and 75 for a weekend total of 150. Po-Cheng Hsu from Taoyuan City, Taiwan placed at our other top three honors with scores of 75 and 75 for a weekend total of 150.
Dane Mohap from Nazareth, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Mohap brought in scores of 77 and 71 for a combined total of 148 for the weekend. Charlie Webster from Danville, KY was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 80 and 71 for a combined total of 151. Yao Yuan (Chris) Xue from Kowloon, Hong Kong finished the top three honors with scores of 70 and 88 for a weekend total of 158.
Hsin Tai Lin from Taipei City, Taiwan was the first-place finisher this weekend. Lin brought in scores of 69 and 73 for a combined total of 142 for the weekend. Meyher Khokhar from Longwood, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 73 and 72 for a combined total of 149. Elena Zreik from Sleepy Hollow, NY finished the top three honors with scores of 78 and 71 for a weekend total of 149.
