From January 6-7, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Omni Oak Marsh Junior Open, presented by Amelia Island Convention & Visitors Bureau. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of three divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys U10 Division and Girls 14-18 Division.
Brayden Dock from Queensbury, NY was the first-place finisher of the Omni Oak Marsh Junior Open. Dock posted a 74 in both rounds, giving him a combined total of 148 strokes. Jesse Jones from Tifton, GA finished in second place, scoring a 79 in both rounds which gave him a combined total of 158 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Ethan Arnold from Blackshear, GA. Arnold scored an 83 and 81, giving him a total of 164 strokes to finish the weekend.
Regan Polka from Saint Simons Island, GA was the first-place finisher of the Boys U10 Division. Polka scored 141 and 133, finishing the weekend with a combined score of 274 strokes.
Taylor Sieg from Summit, NJ was the first-place finisher of the Girls 14-18 Division. Sieg scored an 83 and 80, earning her a combined total of 163 strokes. Annie Rose of Augusta, GA placed second, with scores of 93 and 86, finishing with a total of 179 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Lila Reese from Saint Augustine, FL. Reese withdrew from the tournament in the first round.
