From March 23-24, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Ohio Kickoff at New Albany. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format and with a field of four divisions, including the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys U10 Division and Girls 14-18 Division.

Oscar Frye from Brownsburg, IN was the first-place finisher of the Ohio Kickoff at New Albany. Frye scored 82 and 76, giving him a combined total of 158 strokes. Noah Dever from New Concord, OH was the runner up. Dever shot 85 and 75, finishing with 160 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Trace Gibson from Sugarcreek, OH.
