The Ohio Kickoff at Glenross Golf Clubs wrapped up an exciting weekend of junior golf competition from March 22-23, 2025. Talented junior golfers competed across all age divisions, showcasing their focus, grit, and competitive edge. One division even went to a thrilling playoff, highlighting the high level of talent on display
Nathan Miller from Youngstown, OH, finished in first place after a one-hole playoff victory. He posted rounds of 77 on Day 1 and 69 on Day 2, totaling 146 strokes. Michael Distefano from Maumee, OH, also recorded a total of 146 strokes with consistent rounds of 73 on both days, earning him a tie for first and second overall after the playoff. Noah Dever from New Concord, OH, finished in third place, scoring 77 on Day 1 and 73 on Day 2, for a total of 150 strokes.
Preston Tolnar from Canfield, OH, finished in first place with rounds of 77 on Day 1 and 78 on Day 2, totaling 155 strokes. Robert Roemer from Pleasant Ridge, MI, took second place with scores of 93 on Day 1 and 85 on Day 2, for a total of 178 strokes
Olivia Baker from St. Clairsville, OH, finished in first place, delivering rounds of 84 on Day 1 and 78 on Day 2, totaling 162 strokes. Daphne Breen from Beverly Hills, MI, finished in second place with rounds of 84 and 79, totaling 163 strokes. Zoey Merritt from Degraff, OH, placed third with scores of 87 on Day 1 and 77 on Day 2, finishing with 164 strokes.
