From March 23-24, 2024, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Northern Virginia Spring Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format and with a field of five divisions, including the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys U10 Division and Girls 14-18 Division.
Kapil Ramachandran from Ashburn, VA was the first-place finisher of the Northern Virginia Spring Junior Open. Ramachandran scored 75 and 77, giving him a combined total of 152 strokes. Paul-Arthur Roth from Virginia Beach, VA was the runner up. Roth shot 78 and 76, finishing with 154 strokes. Rounding out the top three honors was Fischer Leggitt from Ashburn, VA. Leggitt scored 80 and 79, giving him a total of 159 strokes to finish the weekend.
Jake Lopes from Vienna, VA was the first-place finisher of the Boys 14-15 Division. Lopes scored 79 and 75, giving him a combined total of 154 strokes. Jack Kelley from Falls Church, VA was the runner up. Kelley shot 81 and 82, finishing with 163 strokes. Rounding out the top three was Carter Kamprowski from Haymarket, VA. Kamprowski scored 87 and 79, giving him a combined total of 166 strokes.
Cooper Moskowitz from Middletown, MD was the first-place finisher of the Boys 11-13 Division. Moskowitz scored 83 and 78, giving him a total of 161 strokes. Seunghan Jin from Ashburn, VA was the runner up. Jin shot 104 and 84, finishing with 188 strokes. James Gannon from Doylestown, PA rounded out the top three honors. Gannon scored 102 and 96, giving him a combined total of 198 strokes.
Fraser Gannon from Doylestown, PA was the first-place finisher of the Boys U10 Division. Gannon scored 97 and 102, giving him a combined total of 199 strokes.
Samantha Jones from Fulton, MD was the first-place finisher of the Girls 14-18 Division. Jones scored 91 and 90, giving her a combined total of 181 strokes.
