The Northern Virginia Spring Junior Open concluded an exciting weekend of junior golf at Stonewall Golf Club on March 22-23, 2025. From the first tee shot to the final putt, junior golfers demonstrated grit, skill, and poise across all divisions. With sunshine overhead and determination in their swings, these young athletes brought their A-game to the course and delivered some memorable performances
Tommy Evans from Charles Town, WV, finished in first place, shooting 77 on Day 1 and 71 on Day 2, for a total of 148 strokes. Alejandro Caraballo from Williamsburg, VA, earned second place with rounds of 82 and 77, totaling 159 strokes. Johnny Huhn from Ashburn, VA, finished in third place, posting 83 on Day 1 and 79 on Day 2, for a final score of 162 strokes.
Alexander Randolph from Bridgeport, WV, finished in first place, carding 86 on Day 1 and 81 on Day 2, with a total of 167 strokes. Tied for second place were Grey Luongo from Arlington, VA, and Dylan McNeley from Grandview, ID. Luongo shot 84 and 87, while McNeley posted 85 and 86, each finishing with 171 strokes
Lucas Palmer from Ashburn, VA, finished in first place with rounds of 86 on Day 1 and 75 on Day 2, totaling 161 strokes. Hayden Thatcher from Boonsboro, MD, came in second with scores of 89 and 83, totaling 172 strokes. Seunghan (Jason) Jin from Ashburn, VA, finished third, shooting 96 on Day 1 and 90 on Day 2, for a final total of 186 strokes.
Kingston Burke from Frisco, TX, finished in first place, recording 82 on Day 1 and 83 on Day 2, for a total of 165 strokes. Charlotte Harvey from Sterling, VA, earned second place with scores of 92 and 95, totaling 187 strokes. Madelyn Pool from Springfield, VA, tied for third place with rounds of 99 and 96, for a total of 195 strokes.
