2023 Northern Virginia Spring Junior Open
FRONT ROYAL – The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Northern Virginia Spring Junior Open this past weekend from May 13-14. The 36-hole tournament held at the Bowling Green Country Club had almost 40 participants.

First place in the boys 16-18 division was Rua Kimotho from Fairfax, VA. Kimotho made par 25 times with four birdies, he brought in scores of 73 and 72 totaling 145 for the weekend. This is Kimotho’s fifth win since joining HJGT in 2021. Runner up for the weekend is Patrick Carl from Mount Airy, MD with scores of 73 and 75 he ended the weekend with a total of 148. To finish up top three honors Liam Foster from Charlottesville, VA scored a 74 and 75 for a total of 149.

Armaan Osterman from Farifax, VA was the runner up with scores of 77 and 80 totaling 157 for the weekend. Finishing up top three honors was Jake Stansbury from Herndon, VA scored an 85 and 81 for a combined total of 166.
