The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour was excited to host the Northern NJ Spring Junior Open this past weekend, May 17–18, at the Mountain View Golf Course. The two-day tournament featured a competitive 36-hole format and showcased the talents of junior golfers across five divisions: Boys 16–18, Boys 14–15, Boys 12-13, Boys 10-11, and Girls 14–18.
Will Johnson from Berwyn, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Johnson brought in scores of 71 and 70 for a combined total of 141 for the weekend. Evan Hall from Elmira, Ontario, Canada was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 71 and 72 for a combined total of 143. Brad McDermott from Wayne, PA finished in third place with scores of 71 and 74 for a weekend total of 145.
Hudson Vargas from New York, NY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Vargas brought in scores of 74 and 77 for a combined total of 151 for the weekend. Judd Fletcher from Moorestown, NJ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 77 and 78 for a combined total of 155. Sebastian Meyer from South Abington Township, PA finished in third place with scores of 81 and 75 for a weekend total of 156.
Preston Minio from Lansdale, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Minio brought in scores of 80 and 73 for a combined total of 153 for the weekend. YoungJoo Bahn from Demarest, NJ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 80 and 79 for a combined total of 159. Crosby Knowland from Ridgewood, NJ finished tied for third place with scores of 80 and 82 for a weekend total of 162. Also tied for third place with scores of 80 and 82 for a combined total of 162 was Max Trudell from Hoboken, NJ.
Kabir Bhatia from Short Hills, NJ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Bhatia brought in scores of 80 and 81 for a combined total of 161 for the weekend. Jace Collins from Spring Brook Township, PA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 86 and 79 for a combined total of 165. Lucas Miguel Garcia from Cedar Knolls, NJ finished in third place with scores of 81 and 85 for a weekend total of 166.
Sarah Stumacher from Gladwyne, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Stumacher brought in scores of 83 and 71 for a combined total of 154 for the weekend. Nyah Roccamonte- Clark from Iselin, NJ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 79 and 80 for a combined total of 159. Stella Bernardi from Sewell, NJ tied for third place with scores of 80 and 81 for a combined total of 161. Also in a tie for third place was Charlotte Reid from Cream Ridge, NJ with scores of 83 and 78 for a combined total of 161.
