From October 21-22, 2023, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Northern Jersey Junior Open .The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.

Eli Kaufman from Montville, NJ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Kaufman brought in scores of 78 and 69 for a combined total of 147 for the weekend. We had a three-way tie for our runners-up spot this weekend with Dominick Beck from Morristown, NJ having scores of 74 and 75 for a combined total of 149, Charles Ferrise from Phoenixville, PA with scores of 71 and 78 for a weekend total of 149, and Noah Hu from New York City, NY with scores of 76 and 73 for a combined total of 149 this weekend.
