From July 16-17, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Orange County National Summer Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of three divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.

Samuel Johnson, from Ringgold, Georgia was the first-place finisher this weekend. Johnson brought in scores of 76 and 76 for a combined total of 152 for the weekend. Ayden Bruggeman, from Woodstock, Georgia and Tucker Wick, from Ooltewah, Tennessee tied for the runner up this weekend with scores of 82 and 74, and 82 and 74, respectively, for a combined total of 156 each.

William Isakson, from Marietta, Georgia was the first-place finisher this weekend. Isakson brought in scores of 79 and 85 for a combined total of 164 for the weekend. K. T. Seo, from Dalton, Georgia was the runner up with scores of 85 and 81 for a combined total of 166. Quinn Dahlstrom, from Prattville, Alabama, finished the top three honors with scores of 84 and 83 for a weekend total of 167.

Morgan McKenzie, from Kennesaw, Georgia was the runner up with scores of 93 ad 92 for a combined total of 185. Gabriella Staiger, from Cumming, Georgia finished the top three honors with scores of 97 and 112 for a weekend total of 209.
