Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Myrtle Beach Summer Junior Open at Tradition this past weekend, August 2-3, at Tradition Golf Club. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of 5 divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15, Division, Boys 12-13 Division, Boys 10-11 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.
William Johnson from Charleston, WV was the first-place finisher this weekend. Johnson carded rounds of 74 and 72 for a weekend total of 146. Thanatsith Puri Puriteerangkul from Chattanooga, TN finished in second place with scores of 74 and 77 for a weekend total of 151. Robbie Robertson from Manning, SC finished in third place with scores of 76 and 77 for a weekend total 153.
Reagan Johnson from Sevierville, TN was the first-place finisher this weekend. Johnson brought in scores of 75 and 77 for a weekend total of 152. Coltin Kauffman from Dover, PA finished in second place with scores of 75 and 82 for a weekend total of 157. Bob Cheung from Land O Lakes, FL finished in third place with scores of 77 and 84 for a weekend total of 161.
Angie He from Land O Lakes, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. He brought in scores of 86 and 80 for a combined total of 166 for the weekend. Brody Hill from Hope Mills, NC finished in second place with scores of 99 and 94 for a weekend total of 193.
