This past weekend, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour brought sunshine, spirit, and stellar swings to Mission Resort + Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida, for the Mission Resort + Club Spring Junior Open held April 5-6, 2025. From start to finish, players across four divisions competed with heart and hustle, turning every round into a display of talent and perseverance.
Sam Kozisek of Groveland, FL finished in first place after putting up strong scores of 76 on Day 1 and
75 on Day 2, for a total of 151 strokes. Espn Pool of St. Cloud, FL claimed second place with rounds of
75 and 85, finishing with 160 strokes. Joseph Hansen of Cumberland Center, ME tied for third with
rounds of 84 and 78, totaling 162 strokes
Nathan MacDonald of Fall River, Nova Scotia, Canada finished in first place with a 77 on Day 1 and 82
on Day 2, totaling 159 strokes. Jad Mourine of Rabat, Morocco took second with scores of 77 and 83 for a
final score of 160 strokes. Juan Pablo Garcia Gonzalez of Toluca, Mexico placed third with rounds of 90
and 82, ending at 172 strokes.
Jeri Lafleche of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada finished in first place with rounds of 79 on Day 1 and 81
on Day 2, scoring 160 strokes total. Noha Ghadi of Rabat, Morocco earned second place with scores of 85 and 78, finishing with 163 strokes. Thipthanya Laopinrattana of Bangkok, Thailand rounded out the top three with rounds of 84 and 82, for a combined 166 strokes.
