Howey-in-the-Hills, FL – February 10, 2025 – The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Mission Resort + Club Junior Open this past weekend, February 8-9, 2025, at Mission Resort + Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, FL. This exciting tournament featured a 36-hole format and welcomed junior golfers competing across six divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 12-13, Boys 10-11, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13.
Maddox Ketelaar from Wesley Chapel, FL, finished in first place, delivering consistent scores of 74 on Day 1 and 71 on Day 2 for a total of 145 strokes. Zachary Georgantas from Foxboro, MA, secured second place with scores of 77 on Day 1 and 73 on Day 2, totaling 150 strokes. Edwin Fenton from Bradenton,
FL, rounded out the top three with scores of 79 on Day 1 and 73 on Day 2, achieving a total of 152 strokes.
Drew Brink from Winter Springs, FL, claimed first place this weekend with scores of 75 on Day 1 and 78 on Day 2 for a total of 153 strokes.
