From October 22-23, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Mid Atlantic Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.

Caden Sherman from Glen Allen, Viginia was the first-place finisher this weekend. Sherman brought in scores of 78 and 78 for a combined total of 156 for the weekend. Drew Davenport from Bradenton, Florida was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 77 and 85 for a combined total of 162. Gage Bandy from Round Hill, Virginia finished the top three honors with scores of 85 and 83 for a weekend total of 168.
