The MetroWest Spring Junior Open presented by US Performance Academy wrapped up an exciting weekend of junior golf competition at MetroWest Country Club from March 15-16, 2025. Talented young golfers competed across multiple divisions, showcasing their skills and determination on a challenging course. Rayhao Feng from Short Hills, NJ, finished in first place, delivering rounds of 73 on Day 1 and 71 on Day 2, totaling 144 strokes. Grant Sallengs from Land O’ Lakes, FL, secured second place with rounds of 74 on Day 1 and 71 on Day 2, finishing with 145 strokes. Bo Dong from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, rounded out the top three, posting 73 on Day 1 and 74 on Day 2, for a combined total of 147 strokes.
Justin Chu from North York, Ontario, Canada, finished in first place, scoring 70 on Day 1 and 73 on Day 2, totaling 143 strokes. Lucas Zhao from Brossard, Quebec, Canada, finished in second place, posting 82 on Day 1 and 81 on Day 2, totaling 163 strokes. Harrison Hartke from Cedar Rapids, IA, secured third
place with rounds of 81 on Day 1 and 83 on Day 2, finishing with a total of 164 strokes.
Dustin Zhao from Maple, Ontario, Canada, secured first place, recording rounds of 74 on Day 1 and 74 on Day 2, for a total of 148 strokes. Junhang Wu from Newton, MA, finished in second place, posting 78 on Day 1 and 84 on Day 2, totaling 162 strokes. Leonard Anthony from Center Valley, PA, finished in third place, scoring 88 on Day 1 and 85 on Day 2, with a final total of 173 strokes.
Derek Zhao from Maple, Ontario, Canada, finished in first place, posting 77 on Day 1 and 83 on Day 2, for a total of 160 strokes. Travis Reaves from Lake Mary, FL, secured second place with rounds of 85 on Day 1 and 77 on Day 2, finishing with 162 strokes. Paul Sutton Amrich from Greenwich, CT, rounded out the top three, recording 85 on Day 1 and 82 on Day 2, for a final score of 167 strokes.
Kassandra Rombouts from Florence, Ontario, Canada, finished in first place, posting 70 on Day 1 and 81 on Day 2, for a total of 151 strokes. Phoebe Li from Maple, Ontario, Canada, secured second place with rounds of 76 on Day 1 and 79 on Day 2, finishing with 155 strokes. Kaeleigh Chung from Richmond Hill,
Ontario, Canada, rounded out the top three, recording 78 on Day 1 and 78 on Day 2, for a final score of 156 strokes.
Hazel Hegstrom from Providence, RI, finished in first place, delivering rounds of 77 on Day 1 and 74 on Day 2, for a total of 151 strokes. Jessie Jin from Chestnut Hill, MA, finished in second place, posting 74 on Day 1 and 81 on Day 2, totaling 155 strokes. Mirela Boras from Burlington, Ontario, Canada, tied for
third place, scoring 83 on Day 1 and 82 on Day 2, with a final total of 165 strokes.
