Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Mayacoo Lakes Junior Open this past weekend, June 18-19, at Mayacoo Lakes Country Club. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of 5 divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15, Division, Boys 12-13 Division, Boys 10-11, and Girls 14-18 Division.
Jason Brockmann from Boca Raton, FL claimed first place this weekend with rounds of 81 and 79, finishing with a total score of 160. Ippei Igarashi from Tokyo, Japan finished in second place with scores of 83 and 85 for a weekend total of 168. Benjamin Gaitan from Bogota, Colombia finished in third place with scores of 86 and 83 for a weekend total of 169.
John Gorman from Palm Beach Gardens, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Gorman brought in scores of 91 and 85 for a weekend total of 176. Filippo Picasso from Buenos Aires, Argentina finished in second place with scores of 93 and 87 for a weekend total of 180. Harper Chance from North Palm Beach, FL finished in third place with scores of 96 and 86 for a combined total of 182.
Gerald Emerson from Pilar, Argentina was the first-place finisher this weekend. Emerson brought in scores of 87 and 87 for a combined total of 174 for the weekend. James Gannon from Doylestown, PA was the second-place finisher this weekend with scores of 95 and 94 for a total of 189. Aaron Cuetara from West Palm Beach, FL finished in third place with scores of 112 and 100 for a weekend total of 212.
Luciana Medina from Cali, Colombia was the first-place finisher this weekend with scores of 80 and 74 for a weekend total of 154. Emma Gaitan from Bogota, Colombia finished in second place with scores of 80 and 77 for a combined total of 157.
