From April 30th to May 1st, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Maryland Spring Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.

Evan Barbin from Rising Sun, MD was the first-place finisher this weekend. Barbin brought in scores of 70 and 80 for a combined total of 150 for the weekend. Athen Sachar from York, PA was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 84 and 78 for a combined total of 162. Adam Green from Freeland, MD finished with top three honors with scores of 79 and 84 for a weekend total of 163.
