The Maryland Spring Junior Open wrapped up an exciting weekend
of junior golf competition at Chesapeake Bay Golf Club from April 26-27, 2025. Junior golfers from across the region showcased their grit, determination, and sportsmanship over two thrilling days of play.
The tournament was filled with outstanding performances, setting the stage for an incredible spring season.
David Patrylo from La Plata, MD, finished in first place, delivering rounds of 71 on Day 1 and 78 on Day 2, totaling 149 strokes. Andrew Rindger from Havertown, PA, secured second place with rounds of 79 on Day 1 and 76 on Day 2, finishing at 155 strokes. Matt Overholt from Fallston, MD, rounded out the top three, posting scores of 80 on Day 1 and 77 on Day 2, totaling 157 strokes.
Evan Smith from Elkton, MD, captured first place, recording 78 on Day 1 and 82 on Day 2, totaling 160 strokes. Chase Riley from Chester Springs, PA, earned second place with rounds of 83 on Day 1 and 86 on Day 2, finishing with 169 strokes. Grey Luongo from Arlington, VA, finished third, posting scores of 88 on Day 1 and 85 on Day 2, for a total of 173 strokes.
Kacy Day from Bel Air, MD, finished in first place, posting rounds of 79 on Day 1 and 82 on Day 2, for a total of 161 strokes. Leela Kenwood from Bethesda, MD, took second place with rounds of 79 on Day 1 and 83 on Day 2, finishing with 162 strokes. Vivienne Powers from York, PA, rounded out the top three, shooting 83 on Day 1 and 80 on Day 2, totaling 163 strokes.
