Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted the Major Championship at Weissinger Hills Leaderboard this past weekend, May 31- June 1, at Weissinger Hills Golf Course. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of 5 divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15, Division, Boys 12-13 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Brooks Cole from Louisville, KY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Cole brought in scores of 71 and 75 for a combined total of 146. Branson Adwell from Louisville, KY was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 72 and 75 for a combined total of 147. Landon Elder from Louisville, KY finished the top three honors with scores of 77 and 71 for a weekend total of 148.
Parker Brandon from LaGrange, KY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Brandon brought in scores of 78 and 74 for a combined total of 152 for the weekend. John Greer from Goshen, KY was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 77 and 78 for a combined total of 155. Carson Judd from Lexington, KY finished the top three honors with scores of 83 and 76 for a weekend total of 159.
Whitt Kaster from Louisville, KY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Kaster brought in scores of 78 and 76 for a combined total of 154 for the weekend. Max Sutton from Lexington, KY was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 78 and 83 for a combined total of 161. Owen Lodge from Louisville, KY finished the top three honors with scores of 90 and 90 for a weekend total of 180.
Brooklynn Bohnert from Lanesville, IN was the first-place finisher this weekend. Bohnert brought in scores of 76 and 76 for a combined total of 152. Heidi Mitchell from Louisville, KY was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 82 and 79 for a combined total of 161.
