Hurricane Junior Golf Tour hosted Major Championship at Golden Horseshoe this past weekend, June 21-22, at Golden Horseshoe Golf Club. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of 5 divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15, Division, Boys 12-13, Boys 10-11 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.
Thomas Aman from Newport News, VA, claimed first place this weekend with solid rounds of 75 and 72, finishing with a total score of 147. Gus Lemon from Gloucester, VA finished in second place with scores of 80 and 75 for a combined total of 155. William Marino from McLean, VA finished in third place with scores of 78 and 78 for a weekend total of 156.
Coltin Kauffman from Dover, PA finished first place this weekend. Kauffman carded rounds of 75 and 78 for a weekend total of 153. Anthony Patton from Springfield VA finished in second place with scores of 77 and 77 for a weekend total of 154. Russell Haueisen from Chesapeake, VA finished in third place with scores of 82 and 75 for a weekend total of 157.
Weston Kim from Oakton, VA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Kim brought in rounds of 74 and 74 for a weekend total of 148. Ryan Totte from Falls Church, VA finished in second place with scores of 79 and 71 for a weekend total of 150. Connor Vaughan from Mclean, VA finished in third place with scores of 75 and 78 for a combined total of 153.
Madeleine Smith from Richmond, VA was the first-place finisher this weekend with scores of 80 and 80 for a weekend total of 160. Leela Kenwood from Bethesda, MD finished second place with scores of 81 and 87 for a combined total of 168. Josephine Hughes from Williamsburg, VA finished third place with scores of 89 and 84 for a weekend total of 173.
